1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to FRT ("FRT", "we", "our", or "us").
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FRT website and services. By creating an account or using FRT, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use FRT.
2. About FRT
FRT is an accessibility platform designed to improve media accessibility for individuals with prosopagnosia (face blindness). The service generates FRT files that assist users in identifying characters during video playback.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep your information up to date.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used in a manner that threatens the security or operation of the service.
4. Catalog Downloads
Registered users may download FRT files that have been published in the public catalog at no additional cost unless otherwise stated.
Availability of catalog entries may change at any time.
5. Processing Requests
Users may request the creation of new FRT files for media that is not already available in the public catalog.
Processing requests require a one-time payment per requested file.
Payment grants processing of the requested media and does not guarantee exclusive ownership of the resulting FRT file.
6. Payments
Payments are processed securely through Polar.
By purchasing a processing request, you agree to pay the displayed price at the time of purchase.
Unless required by applicable law, payments are generally non-refundable once processing has begun.
7. Uploaded Content
You retain ownership of any media files you upload.
By uploading media to FRT, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and use the uploaded files solely for the purpose of generating the requested FRT file and operating the service.
Uploaded media files are automatically deleted upon successful completion of processing or seven (7) days after upload, whichever occurs first.
8. Generated FRT Files
Generated FRT files remain the property of FRT.
For content that is not private, including commercially released movies and television shows, FRT may publish generated FRT files in its public catalog where they may be downloaded by other users.
Content uploaded privately will not be published without the user's explicit permission.
9. Intellectual Property
The FRT website, software, branding, logos, and generated content provided through the service are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not grant you ownership of the FRT platform or its underlying software.
10. Availability
We strive to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of FRT at any time without prior notice.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
FRT is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FRT and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of FRT shall not exceed the amount you paid to FRT for the specific processing request giving rise to the claim.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of FRT after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
